Our dinghy is named Anorikuluk, a fond diminutive of the Inuit word Anori (“wind”). Loosely translated, Anorikuluk means “little wind” – a perfectly fitting name for the boat that reliably carries us from anchorages to shore and back.
The dinghy is a Highfield Classic 310 with an aluminium hull, providing a stable and safe platform for transfers even in rougher conditions. It is powered by a Yamaha 20 hp outboard, offering brisk rides and plenty of reserve when carrying luggage, water cans or other equipment.
Robust, practical and manoeuvrable, Anorikuluk is a central part of daily life aboard.
